About Me
I’m a freelance web designer based in London in the United Kingdom. I create elegant and effective websites for a variety of clients including individuals and small to medium sized businesses.
I am relatively new to the field of web design, having studied law at university and worked in the legal profession for several years. I’ve been working as a freelancer since early 2007 and in this time have developed a passion for web design. I now thoroughly enjoy creating websites that are both visually appealing and easy to use.

Web Standards
My main focus is the design of bespoke websites with a particular emphasis on web standards, accessibility, and usability. This is beneficial because websites created using web standards have faster download times, better search engine rankings and are easier to update.
I write my web pages by hand using XHTML and CSS, which reduces the amount of code used and also makes pages load faster. Please see my accessibility statement for more information regarding the accessibility features of this site.
