Site Description
Complete site design for a fireplace retailer based in Surrey. Client required a clean, elegant and user friendly design for easy navigation of products and product details.
Carried out all creative production from concept development to production of interactive content. Hand-coded web pages using XHTML 1.0 strict and CSS in standards based web design.
Used Photoshop and Fireworks to produce optimised web graphics and animations. Site given tableless, flexible design so that it expands and contracts on text resize. Carried out XHTML and CSS validation testing. Conducted usability testing including web page functionality, download time and cross-browser compatibility.
Carried out search engine optimisation achieving top five ranking for "fireplace surrey" keywords search in google.
